Press molded in Occupied Japan between 1946 and 1953 these small glass pieces have a gorgeous amethyst color and a floral molded design. I've bezel set them in fine silver and cut out the back of the setting to allow light to shine through when worn. Sterling silver earwires. This glass is very deeply molded with the design piercing all the way through the glass at times. This is a feature of Japanese glass and is not seen in the Czech glass. It reminds me of Chinese stone carving.
