BN-355 Larimar on Waves Pendant
A gorgeous piece of Larimar nearly an inch in diameter that I picked up in the Dominican Republic years ago. This particular stone recalls the frothing waves of the aqua ocean in the Caribbean. Bezel set in full 22k yellow gold for that striking contrast with the silver backing. 14k gold droplets add interest.
The engraving I've done (by hand) on the silver backing is inspired by a 1920's Japanese block print by an unnamed artist. I love the Art Deco stylized flavor of these waves!
This chain I've made myself of alternating circles and ovals from square 14k gold filled wire. It represents over 5 hours of work. It's 20 inches long with a lobster clasp. The pendant is attached to the center ring, but is removable if needed. You can wear this chain all by itself on occasion. You're really getting two pieces in one.
