Native to the Maghreb (northern Africa) for thousands of years, the Amazigh people were called Berbers by the Romans, meaning Barbarian, but their real name, the name they call themselves, Amazigh, means the "free people". They are amazing artisans with some of the most beautiful enamel work in the world (in my opinion). These earrings, made with a handmade stamp from Master Bouchta in Fez, remind me of Amazigh metalworking patterns.
