BN-280 Thai Metal Chasing Pendant
This pendant is an example of a new metal chasing technique I studied in Chiang Mai Thailand at the Silver Temple, Wat Sri Suphan in January 2019. The pattern is from the Lanna style of Northern Thailand which is more floral than the Bangkok style in which everything is engulfed in flames. I hand chase the pewter and then decorate with sterling silver wire and cut-outs in my traditional method. This necklace is finished with sterling silver figaro chain and a lobster clasp for an adjustable fit. Check out my travel blog page for photos of Wat Sri Suphan and my teacher Kru Tu!
